Uh-oh, looks like this purple lady wandered a little too far from her home lair (308987, royalscientist), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. Adventure Log: GrinningWolf24 #212075, 5/24/17 She had noticed it about him when he had first sidled up to her, offering to travel together for as long as their paths went the same way. The way his voice quivered and his tail lashed, displaying his subtle nervousness. The way his chest puffed up and he eagerly trotted beside her when she accepted, smiling happily and tilting her head so that her eyes would catch the early morning light.d That was all she needed to see- he was an easy target, a young, loner male who was still inexperienced in the world. Ha, it will be interesting to see how this plays out... Perhaps I can teach the kid a thing or two... They traveled a ways together, her new companion showing all the traits of a greenhorn bachelor- the high energy, the constant attention, and the laughably awkward attempts to bond. Despite his flawed attempts that wouldn't cause most ladies to give him the time of day, she let it happen. It's the only way he'll learn. His confidence swelled the longer they stayed together. She watched him become a little smoother, a little less overbearing. Even just the few short weeks on the road were making an immense difference. He does have moi as his teacher in the art of seduction, after all, even if he doesn't know it. One chilly night, he removed his overcoat and draped it over her shoulders, the picture of a chivalrous gentleman. Outwardly, she sighed and leaned in towards him, but inwardly, she chuckled. He was doing it. He was learning. And oh, was this fun! Soon, she could have him play right into her claws. She could teach him a final lesson, and then set off again knowing that he had learned all the ropes. Not long after that night, he took off more than just his coat. He had been slowly getting closer to her, draping a wing across her back. Still awkward and heavy-handed, but better than before. She leaned in, tracing her claws across the soft velvet of his chest. She felt his feathers rustle, and the heat radiating off him in waves. Ha! Men are so easy to play... Two motions and I can get them to play my little game... She drew him in further, whispering a gentle conversation. It took what felt like forever, but finally... finally, he seemed to work up his nerve, and give her a drawn-out kiss. After that it was mere child's play to lead him through the next motions. He was inexperienced, but she had a good time anyway. The grasses and gentle breeze of the Windswept Plateau were a pleasant place to be. After, she dozed, laughing gently and watching him sleep through half-lidded eyes. She was still twined around him, curled up and peaceful, enjoying another show of her skills. Once they were both awake and the sun was fully up, they searched around for his missing 'articles'... to no avail. I do believe I may have thrown them out of the way... All the better to get him tied down a little longer. She suggested they make the trip to a clan she knew that was just over the border into the Plaguelands. It was secluded, private, and rather generous. Savion wasn't quick to argue. Taking off, she started leading him to a clan she'd only heard of from other travelers before. Namesong was all she hoped it was. Full of travelers, and dragons who didn't give two cents about why new ones walked through the door, it was easy to sneak up to their nesting grounds and commandeer a small nest. Even better, Savion's older sister was here! Ha! She would keep him here even easier! After laying the nest, Roxy disappeared down some of the tunnels, lounging and letting Savion look after the nest. He was actually an attentive father. He spent more time next to the nest than he even did eating or sleeping, carefully maintaining the nest and watching for any problems that could hurt the eggs. She couldn't have cared less, though, other than to be happy that she didn't have to care for any of the little buggers. She popped back into the nesting grounds for a brief few hours as the eggs hatched (She knew how long incubation periods were by heart at this point.) The hatchlings hadn't even been in this world for an hour yet and she was already heading off to find the next source of fun. Parenthood was a bore to her- toying with new mates, now that was fun! Raising bratty hatchlings? Not so much. Savion followed, catching up to her in one of the tunnels leading to the surface from the underground lair. When he caught up, she gave a scornful laugh. The harsh sound seemed out of place in the otherwise silent tunnel. "You're such a newb! You really think you know what you are doing yet?" Savion stood his ground, his crest rising in a threat. "You were so fresh from the den that I barely had to use any of my skills at all! It was almost boring, getting you to have a good time." She huffed, and in a sudden upset, Savion snatched up her left wing in his claws, holding it tight. She stifled a squeak of pain and surprise- he had a startling amount of backbone. She covered her discomfort with more mocking words. "Oooh, don't like that, do you? Well ya' better take my words to heart- if you're going to be a bachelor, you've gotta be selfish. Leave them the next morning. Don't care for the hatchlings. Say 'Adios!' and go on looking for more fun." Savion was taken aback, and in his moment's pause, she slipped his grasp and rapidly wound her way up into the clear air outside the trapdoor. With the manic energy that only a spiral could possess, she disappeared into the red-tinged sky. She didn't look back. She never did. Time to go find the next potential mate....

Zikul #12962, ??? - 6/13/17 Three eggs were the result of her visit to Daberath's Kingdom. As she arrived, she'd been notated (they asked so many questions), and introduced to a whole book of rules she didn't care to read. Next thing she knew, she was telling them all about her previous lover, and how he was following her unrightfully - they assured her they wouldn't let him in, and due to his absence, she figured they must have successfully turned him away. Good. Then he'd grow into his own dragon much better, pick up the pieces and keep going. She, on her hand, fraternized with the natives. A fae caught her eye, and soon she'd caught him right back. His response to her silver talk was ground shaking, and she ended up swaying him earlier than she'd gotten around to the real business with the skydancer. Soon, three eggs were laid - and this time, she didn't have to run away at night like a thief. Somehow, what she'd done had been illegal, and she wasn't just thrown out of the Kingdom, she was also bannned from ever returning. Ouch. On her way out, she caught the gaze of a Bogsneak, and she instantly caught him by the arm to convince her to come with her to discover the world: He seemed innocent and young enough that he wouldn't know what had even happened by the time she'd be done with him.

IceOtter #246320, 8/16/2017 Roxy found herself in the Southern Icefield at a place called the Sunflakes Alliance. She came here for one thing and one thing only and that was to find a new source of fun. Many of the males here were decent enough but none pulled her attention as much as the twin skydancers did. One was a singer, the other a dancer and after watching them perform she knew she needed to play around with them. She later found out that the singer's name was Gus and his brother the dancer was named Hunter. They were willing to teach her a few dance moves after she had expressed interest in doing so. Though Hunter seemed to have taken an interest in her after some time her interests rested else where but the singer didn't seem to even notice her advances. So she settled for the brother and in no time the two were expecting children together. She left shortly after the eggs hatched, falsely promising one day to return for Gus.

SugarRose22 #271753, 8/29/17 Roxy eventually found herself at a lair in the Sunbeam Ruins called Clan Sucre Se Leva. The clan was run by the Headmistress Alexus, who was a very kind and considerate leader. Alexus, as well as the rest of the clan, welcomed Roxy with open wings. She was overjoyed to be able to stay with the clan for a little while, and one of her favorite pass-times was to simply bask in the warm golden rays of the sun like many of the other dragons tended to do. Roxy learned the dynamics of the clan fairly quickly, and she found herself making a new close friend with Athena. The pastel Wildclaw girl was fairly quiet but enormously caring, and Roxy enjoyed her gentle personality. Roxy learned that Athena often enjoyed taking care of the hatchlings at times and she also had a passion for gardening. Athena could name different flowers and herbs with just one look, which impressed Roxy to no end. After spending more and more time with Athena, Roxy also became quite good at identifying plant life. However, Roxy was searching for a mate and she was struggling to find one within the clan. Most of the handsome males already had mates, and the single ones didn't seem to take interest in her nor did she take interest in them. Disappointed with the limiting mate selection, Roxy decided it was best to move on before getting too comfortable within the clan. Though she truly enjoyed her stay with Clan Sucre Se Leva, Roxy took her leave before too long with a promise to never forget Athena or any of the kind souls she'd encountered.
