If one were to describe a dragon brought to life by a lightning storm, one would expect the dragon to be wild and unpredictable, or dark and brooding. Teel is neither, but the lightning storm bit is true. He arrived laughing jovially, drenched in rainwater that glistened as it dripped off of his fine gold jewelry. Lightning clapped behind him as he politely requested a meal and a bed, but like most members of Shenani Clan, what started as a temporary stay turned into a permanent one. He claims that while travelling in a storm as a nocturne courier, lightning struck him and he became a guardian... Apparently flung far into the future. His laughter was caused by his noticing his new size; He'd mistaken Shenani Clan for a lair of mini dragons before realizing his new form. Still, he took it quite well, flexing his gills and chuckling almost continuously. The first few days Teel spent time getting used to his new body shape and reading up on the "news" in the library. It's hard to believe his tale at first for most, but he's so genuine about everything else that it's difficult to dispute him after you get to know him. That and... This one bizarrely twisted horn on the side of his head.

While it's clear his previous clan of old was dear to him, he's accepted that there's naught he can do to go back and meet them. He was a young thing when the storm took him, and has been adapting to the "future" quite well. Finding that Shenani Clan's status as a popular vacation spot allows him to meet dragons of all kinds consistently, he's settled in and taken up the empty mantle of clan treasurer.

Remained from his previous nocturne form is his ability to act, and Teel at mealtimes is quite a different dragon than Teel when a newcomer "stumbles" into the treasure hoard vaults. He takes great pleasure and spooking intruders looking to score a coin or two.

Outside of his job, Teel loves teas and telling jokes and stories. Switching between characters is great fun for him, so much so that each time he decides to tell one it's like a mini-performance. Sociable dragons appreciate his friendly and energetic demeanor, while hunters appreciate him for the skillful, almost playful way he hunts.
