Lore: While many would find the Ashfall Waste lands a perfectly acceptable home…...if one likes lava, fire, and heat, the Solar Spots would disagree. Solar Spots don’t just like heat, they crave it. They are always looking for nesting spots just a little closer to the lava, just a tad closer towards the sun. With such ambition to be not only closer to the wonderfully burning heat and sun, the Solar Spots eggs will sometimes get within the splash zone of spraying lava. When the Lava hits the eggs and is allowed to cool, it creates a crackled pattern that many keep when hatching. Even as adults many Solar Spots can be found skimming the Blacksand Annex, or following lava down the side of The Great Furnace.
