Patches

Patches is agitated and young enough to be overall happy even though she's gradually losing her parents to depression. She loves all her five sisters and they get along like a house on fire. Literally.

She and her sisters have a dream to create a clan of their own called The Five Warriors, as all of them have a passion for fighting.

She tries to be useful on the battlefield for now but is still very weak. She's not losing hope, though, and is sure that one day she'll be a great warrior.

Years later, Patches will break her left wing to the point of no return and will lose that dream, but that day is yet to come. She will aso fall in love with the healer who nurses her back to health, and will may or may not leave him with three beautiful golden eggs to take care of a few years later.

"I can't be a warrior if I'm a mother of three" She says on a dirty note inside the basket with the eggs, secretly scared she'll be like her own mother and fill her children with sorrow and bitterness. Her mate disagrees, but has no choice on the matter, since he opened his door one windy night and saw the basket on his doorstep. He never saw Patches again.

Decades later, the sisters will build the The Five Warriors clan, even though Belle would have died from an infection months before during a battle and Patches wouldn't be able to fight. She does meet her hatchlings after that, though they're already grown dragons. She tries to name them her heirs, but is heartbroken to see neither of her offspring want the title.

In a desperate attempt to find a young heir to the throne, Zeni finds out Malaya was taking care of her lost brother's daughter after the mage died, and decided to make their blood royal and took the poor hatchling under her wing.

The Five Warriors will prosper for many centuries and eventually become a noble house with Kings, Queens and heirs.
