A bogsneak and guardian travel along the sandy riverbed. He can't remember when they crossed paths, but both were escaping violent and dangerous clans. Their wounds, spanning their spirits and bodies, were still fresh. Both keep on in the hopes of finding sanctuary and a new, peaceful life. The dry landscape, full of brush and surrounded by a distinct lack of life, was hostile and unforgiving. Hopelessness was settling down on them like the dust lining their scales.

After what must have been weeks, the couple arrive at a lush, sunlit forest. The quiet and warmth is inviting. It is uninhabited.
Then began the establishment of clan Sekirite.

Marzipan lied in the tall grass in one of the clan’s many clearings. The air was sweet, and he gently grunted as he exhaled, wrapping his tail closer to him. He was pleased at his new home. There was no valiant fighting for this territory— they stumbled upon the forest and simply remained. He wasn’t sure where he had come from, but he was satisfied with where he was now.
