Karetao was not built in the clan, but found wandering in the desert. Her iron skin has been dulled by the desert dust, and her wings are reddened with rust, but the spark that animates her hollow shell is as bright as ever.
She smells, faintly, of ozone, oil, and rust.
Her job is to train new warriors for the clan, which she does with cold mechanical precision. If her trainees are magic users, she keeps them alive while they figure out how to use their magic talents on her own.
Much to the horror of the males of the clan, Karetao has expressed an interest in breeding, and tests indicate she is capable of it.
Karetao belongs to the mirror pack, and holds the rank of toa (warrior).
