Pearl is the epitome of pessimism. She's a wet blanket to anyone's firey enthusiasm, but in reality, it stems from her desire to protect others. As a medical student and a sister, she wanted to do her best to protect others from getting hurt. As a result, she's very pessimistic of the future, and she plans around that to brace for it. She doesn't intend to be mean or rude, she just would rather be prudent than get her hopes up.
Relationships with other dragons:
  • Cereza: Although Pearl won't admit it, she has a soft spot for Cereza. Together, the two are like hot and cold! She cares a lot for Cereza, and she knows that Cereza cares a lot for her too, it's just hard for Pearl to receive any positive feedback.
  • Flare: Another example of hot and cold mixing together, the two's individual wit and snark surprisingly mesh well together... Maybe in a not life or death situation, they could be better friends?
