This dragon tends to be a little arrogant. The are still honorable but can come off as self-important.

Helios is what some consider a virtuoso in her craft. She may be young, but she has an immense amount of potential. From an early age, she had already mastered the knowledge that most younglings would struggle with at her age. She was the perfect embodiment of a light dragon. For most of her life, she had been travelling to other lands for her thirst for knowledge, having apprenticed under many noteworthy dragons, some of which have even fought over her.

She was taught many things under the dragons who guided her, and not just academically. “Be curious, kind, but wary”, one had told her. She lived by it. Helios is one to always ask the stranger questions, often asking about the most minuscule detail. The alchemist has kept an open mind from an early age, brought up not to judge a book by it’s cover. She is willing to give many dragons a second chance, a third if necessary. However, she’s always been careful; never wearing her heart on her sleeve

Whilst it may seem as if Helios were unrivalled, it couldn't be further from the truth. She holds a somewhat rational fear of any youngling that seems to hold potential as an alchemist, and constantly lets waves of relief wash over her when she discovers that being an alchemist was "boring". Along her journeys, she had encountered various apprentices, with whom she may or may not have had a couple of rivalries. Thankfully, she is currently the most successful amongst them.

Helios does have titles as well. Some often call her “Helios the Golden”, not just as a nod to her colours, but also because she managed to turn silver to gold- a feat only skilled alchemists are able to perform. Others call Helios “Sundial Alchemist” for obvious reasons. The studious dragon dismisses these names, highly preferring to simply be called “Helios”. Secretly, however, she does like her nicknames. It’s rather obvious since she perks up whenever she hears them.

It may be true that Helios is intelligent, but she’s also rather social; She loves debating everything and anything, whether that be philosophy or theology. The light dragon is chatty, and hilarious too. Although, her humour may sound like inside jokes to any outsider- as they are often jokes and puns centred around her vast knowledge of various crafts. In rather awkward situations, it’s not uncommon to hear her lighten the mood with a bit of banter. Well, at least she does try to ease tensions.

Her best friend and familiar, a mischievous Citrine Cave Jewel dubbed “Lumen”, that she found whilst exploring the caves of Dragonhome. The two seemed to get along almost immediately and bonded considerably during Helios’ stay at Dragonhome. So much so, that when it was time to leave, the little guy snuck into her luggage, and was only discovered once she had left. That’s when he officially became her familiar, and both of them have been inseparable since. In fact, the two developed to communicate without either of them having to verbally make out what they're attempting to say.
