Quote:
" Born from a dragon brought back to life by fire and flame and from a dragon who's attitude blazes like an inferno, this young dragon seems to mimic that of the sun. Their scales are hot to the touch, almost too hot to touch. They are adept in fire magic, due to heritage, but it is not rare for these dragons, simply known as 'Sun-Touched Serpents', to not be able to access this power.
Due to their heritage, these dragons are born resembling that of cold, lifeless coal; their scales solid black and bodies cold and unmoving. The first clutch wielding only one child, when she was born the mother mourned at her first child being lifeless and begged the Arcanist to help. The Arcanist complied, mainly because he was intrigued by the child, and on impulse he fled to the cosmos to the nearest large star. With the child in his arms, the star quickly warmed up the 'dead' hatchling bringing her scales to a vibrant, warm orange. The Arcanist was so fascinated by this that he didn't realize the sun scorching and burning the hatchling's body until she cried out.
Upon returning the child to her mother, the Arcanist promised to help the parents with their hatchlings. Now whenever a new clutch is born, the Arcanist delivers the hatchlings to the nearest star in the cosmos to awaken them, however, each time he is so intrigued with it, resulting in scarred bodies.
This is why these dragons are born with vibrant, violet eyes, the Arcanist coming in contact with them influences the shade of their eyes despite their flame-bodied demeanor. "
