Poseidon was the second male and fifth child of Kronos, the Titan King of Mount Othrys, and his sister-wife Rhea, born after his sisters Hestia, Demeter, and Hera, and his elder brother Hades.
Poseidon has black hair, a neatly trimmed black beard, a deep tan, and sea-green eyes (inherited from his mother Rhea). His eyes twinkle with the untold stories of the seas and behind his gentle smile contains more secrets than the depth of the ocean. His rough hands tame the waves themselves; but the sea cannot be contained. His anger is the rage of all the seven seas and his happiness is the blessing of the life in the ocean itself. The mystery of the ocean cannot be denied; and it lures many into its' open arms.
