The children of two dragons that anyone would think should have died a few years ago probably would be considered bad omens of some sort. But the parents are happy with them and the hatchlings are at least healthy enough to know how to open their mouth to breathe, so at least they're going in the right direction.

They are the first hatchlings in the clan to be raised somewhat properly by their blood-related parents, and as such, while their health might not be the best, their prowess in magic and alchemy has far surpassed their older siblings.

Crudus, unlike their older sibling, followed almost perfectly in Cruor's footsteps, like a child on the beach stepping only on the footsteps their parents had left for them before. They are an absolute menace when it came to herbs, and picked up the craft of alchemy and healing so quickly they can even correct older alchemists on their mistakes. Given the chance, they were probably capable of memorizing the scientific names of every single herb they had ever laid eyes upon.

Unfortunately, this left their father, Cruor, at a loss for what to do; Their skill in alchemy eventually far surpassed his own, and left him with nothing else to teach his child. As such, they are planning on gathering their belongings, and venturing out in the world. Mayhaps to look for someone who had more knowledge to spare, or mayhaps to look for a place they could put their own skills to use.
