Biography

Laertes loves building gadgets. His need to make everyone's life easier has resulted in the invention of multiple automatic fishing nets, which have been more efficient at catching hatchlings than they ever were fish. Laertes has also manufactured a relatively useful pearl cleaning device, that frees up more of his time to devote to the pursuits of science, even if most other Pearlcatchers find it disturbing. Tinkering away, Laertes' mind is always clearest when his claws are busy, whilst he's never had any real visions or prophecies before, sometimes inspiration for an invention strikes and his body moves of it's own accord. Creating something that's purpose is only clear once it is finished has become the norm. Unfortunately his inspiration has run dry, and his list of possible projects has dwindled, hopefully a fresh start will provide him with what he needs for his next big breakthrough.
