31484174p.png 		The one dragon all residents of Sword Fern wish would just go exalt himself, Kumo does nothing all day other than try to usurp Ome's power, not that anyone knows what he would do with it anyways. He serves no functional role in the clan and unlike most residents is not a skilled fighter. In a fight with Merens the fool would probably spend his time admiring his reflection rather than helping.

The traitor:
Heralding from the Draconox clan, Kumo's story was set in motion by a betrayal. His own betrayal. Kumo had always sought power wherever he went, and resented his lowly position in the clan. Nocturnia sensed the darkness in the young dragon that not even the Shadowbinder could condone, and blocked his attempts to move up in the clan. The prideful Pearlcatcher often spent his time staring at his reflection in the river, and bemoaning his lack of power. It wasn't long before the Maren in the river took notice, and plotted to use take advantage of his ambition. They hid in the shadows of the river, and called out to him,
"Kumo the magnificent, we know how you can rise and show the world your glory." Kumo puffed his chest at their praise, too pleased by being called magnificent to question their words.
"I'm listening lowly beings." The Maren seethed at his words but didn't retaliate, if their plot succeeded they could break into the strong wards set up by Nocturnia and regain the Shadow realm.

Oh wait I'm supposed to be studying. Brb.
