Personality
Wisteria, though quite timid and worrisome, is quite a hard working and kind dragon. She doesn’t like to bother people with her problems, and often never seeks help when it comes to handling an issue. However, no matter what her workload is, she always finds a way to at least brighten up the day for someone. She often bites off more than she can chew with her work, but she always gets what she needs to do done as soon as possible. Despite being quite friendly and welcoming, Wisteria is rather reserved, refraining from speaking to most dragons when possible. Though she’s not the sharpest tool in the shed knowledge wise, she can always sense the emotions of those around her. She feels almost entitled to make people feel like they belong and to be calm, even when she’s feeling that exact way herself. Wisteria is emotionally intelligent and hardworking, and despite her flaws, she makes a great addition to Rhythm Clan.

History
Despite being one of the top and first members of Rhythm Clan, Wisteria didn’t always live in the clan. Hatched on the border of a lavish bamboo jungle and a desolate tundra, Wisteria was a cross breed- a hatchling with parents from two different clans. Fortunately, the clans were allied, and had accepted her union, the Clan of Silent Hollows taking her into their bamboo forest base. She had been taught what every hatchling has been taught sooner or later, and became a loyal servant to the leader of the clan, Theodosia. She often sang for her, acting as a muse to help enforce the magical auras of magical dragons like Anshu, her Coatl mentor.

She had been taught the song of the WindSinger when she was thirteen. Anshu had been the one to teach her, having faith she would use it for good. Singing the song resulted in her becoming a mage herself, despite her runes never appearing. From then on, she learned thousands of spells, despite the slight irritation of Theodosia. It was clear that her magical abilities were developing to become even more dangerous as time went on. Memory erasure, emotional manipulation, and combat spells were among the few spells she had accidentally cast from her singing.

After a few years of her powers developing, Theodosia had to exile her. Despite her care for the dragoness, she was too dangerous for her clan, she had said. She gave Wisteria a parting gift as she set off- a sylvan headpiece, to channel her magical energy properly, for the time being. Wisteria, understanding her decision, had taken to the road, searching for a new clan.

As she explored she met two dragons who she would soon found her own clan with- Lavendira and Algae. He had met them on a local trade route, the two of them intrigued by the sylvan headwear she sported. Soon, the three became as close as friends could be, though Lavendira and Algae seemed more invested in one another than Wisteria. She eventually grew more independent, but remained loyal to the clan she was rising.

One day, however, a familiar face had shown up- Theodosia, the leader of her old clan. She had stumbled into the territory one day, in search of allies, and regarded Wisteria with pride and joy. She seemed overwhelmed with happiness to finally see her again. She seemed rather proud, and asked what the name of her new clan was. Stunned for a second from the arrival of Theodosia, and not even knowing the name of her clan, she blurted out, “Rhythm Clan!” “It suits you,” Theodosia had smiled, patting her shoulder. Soon, the Clan of Silent Hollows had forged a strong alliance with Rhythm Clan, becoming an almost unstoppable force together.

One day, after the betrayal and exile of Algae, she had met Waterdancer- Lavendira’s son. Waterdancer, though old enough to take the throne from his mother, he didn’t wish for power, and simply remained a prince. He was surprisingly modest, from what Wisteria had noticed, which was quite admirable for a prince. One day, Wisteria had bumped into Waterdancer during a clan meeting between the Clan of Frigid Waters, Silent Hollows, and Rhythm Clan. It had been a rather slow day, but right when Waterdancer stepped onto the scene, dragons were hooting and hollering.

“Oh, h-hi there- Um, where are you going..?” Wisteria stammered as he quickly stumbled back after the sudden collision. He simply smiled and shook his head, a nervous glint in his eyes as he spoke, “About to give a speech, or something.. Dad says I have to be perfect if I ever want the clan to care for me and respect me as a leader.” Wisteria blinked in surprise a few times. She had never imagined Waterdancer would sound so.. Anxious. He always sounded bold and proud in most of his speeches, but when he really spoke, his voice was rather shaken and nervous. Wisteria offered to go hunting in the coliseum instead- it might soothe his worries before having to speak to the clans.

That had not ended up well- though the two got some good laughs and bonding in, they had been discovered way after Waterdancer was supposed to deliver his speech. His father, Aurelius, found them, and was absolutely livid. He sent Wisteria off with a warning, and she said her goodbyes to Waterdancer. The two became quite close over the years. Soon, they found themselves with a clutch of their own, despite Aurelius’ doubts about their relationship. The two remain faithful to this day, and Wisteria has just begun to pick up her magic practices again. She is growing stronger by the day, but dragons are still uncertain whether they can trust her to do the right thing with her abilities. Wisteria and Waterdancer have had a total of one clutch, Gemdancer.
