Clan Mother
One could say that of course she is the clan mother for she is the mate of the clan leader. But this title doesn't come as easy - like almost everything you have to earn it and proof yourself worthy of it. Before her there was no other Clan Mother - at least not in the same sense. She is responsible to teach the little dergs how to take care of themselves. Meaning, she teaches them how to get their food - at least when it comes to insects and plants, because hunting and fishing are two totally different things. Besides she also answers all the questions of the little ones which might occur as they grow up. She also teaches them to befriend wild animals - which in some cultures are called familiars - and how to clean themselves up after playing in the dirt that is this lair. All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother. Even though Hydra is relatively young she's got a lot of wisdom to tell her fellow clan members. She came all the long way from the fire domain when she heard about a clan that is famous for their wise and patient leader and about the member's generally friendly nature. Of course she sometimes misses her family in the Molten Scars and the adjustment to the dry and still warm climate of the Earth Domain wasn't really easy for her. But she did it and the clan welcomed her warmheartedly. Now she is as important as everyone else and happy with her mate Ladon - which makes her really proud, regarding the fact that she is the only dragon he ever really and completely opened up to. They know all about each other and thus are a great example for younger dragons who newly joined the clan. And if anyone ever questions her authority just because she originates from fire, she will show them what fire actually can do.
