[Origin]
She was once the leader of a large and powerful Ice clan. She was very proud of her ranking within her clan, however when a new dragon challenged Eirlys's ability to keep the clan strong she failed. She felt like she was no longer fit to lead her clan so she decided to leave to learn more about the world.

After leaving, she flew far away to a large city on the ocean to find a place to live, however finding work so that she could afford to live there was another story. Eventually she found menial work as a Freight Carrier for a world wide merchant's guild. Due to her size as an imperial she was well equipped for carrying large parcels across long distances. However this was very simple work and required a large amount of time spent alone, so she was quick to eavesdrop on any conversation around the guild whenever she had the downtime to help her learn as fast as she could. And over time, she was able to learn enough about trade and commerce so that she would be able to rise in the ranks.
