Tempest Spire에 있는 연구실에 사는 용. 전선처럼 생겼다. 본디 자신을 품고 있던 부모용이 있었으나, 알일 때 알이 조금 부서져 생명이 위태롭던 것을 연구원이 발견하여 데려왔다. 이후 연구실에 있는 부화기에서 태어나 인공 인큐베이터에서 유년기를 부지하여 살아났다. 그 때문인지 태어날 때부터 잘 쓰지 못하던 다리가 있는데, 그런 알테어를 위해 한 연구원이 다리 보조기구(Mesa Mechanojets)를 만들어 주었다. 어렸을 때부터 사람의 손에 길러져 사람을 굉장히 잘 따르고 좋아한다. 연구소에서 하는 일은 밤에 연구소를 감시하기. 덕에 낮에는 주로 잠을 잔다. 연구실의 터줏냥이인 프로젝트 팜(black cat)과는 칭구칭구.
