Alucio

The third generation in a line of Coatls that have made their home in clan Spinelside. After making their home here for so long, the radiation from Cassius's failed war machine has mutated the family's genes, causing the offspring in the third line to potentially have deformities, but great arcane abilities. It was only a small chance however, but Alucio was one such hatchling to be born with such mutations due to the radiation. With two pairs of wings instead of one pair, he has trouble flying like normal dragons. In exchange though, he has incredible magical power that rivals even most of the elders of the clan, despite being much younger than them. He was also the first case of a dragon having an odd eye type from the other arcane dragons, even before the event that was The Bounty of The Elements.

He underwent training when he became a adolescent, and proved he had a lot of potential. Though the deeper his connection became with the elders, the more he began to learn more about the clan's skeletons in the closet. When he finally learned about the war weapon that damned their clan in the eyes of the Arcanist and took out a number of previous clan residents, Alucio was furious. Not to mention the reason for his uniqueness, his existence, was all becasue of an event so terrible? How could the same people who made such a horrible mistake still be in power today? The clan needed a new clan leader to help guide them, not two broken souls still mourning the loss of their son. Alucio is well aware that such an opinion was harsh, but he believed it to be true.

And thus, a goal formed, where he would gain the appeal of the clan to make Cassius and Ada, the two current leaders, step down from their positions and let him take over. He felt this was the right thing to do. Alucio did not want to win the title of clan patriarch underhandedly, he wanted it fair and square through simple politics. He could only hope it would work out in the end.

And fortunately it did, just not exactly how he expected it to go. He was invited into the Council, where he could have a say in important decisions like Cassius and Ada. Alucio was looking for the two to step down from their positions, but he supposed working side by side with them worked too.

On the road to leadership, Alucio uses his amazing charisma to connect to others. His social butterfly attitude can get on more solitary dragons' nerves however. He also has a bad habit of flirting with other dragons, specifically brightly colored dragons.
