A B O U T
Scarlet has been a hunter for a while now, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's that good at it. Now, you must realize that Scarlet is in no way unskilled, he is very skilled in what he does, the only problem is his coloring. Bright pink doesn't blend with the muted greens of the swamps he dwells in very well. Luckily, he found a loophole. After seeing how well his familiar, Jessie, blended in with the swamp, he was inspired to follow the kelpie's lead. He needed to become one with the swamp. Scarlet is always garbed in forest green, covered in lilies and moss and smelling of nature. He spends all day out in his hunting grounds, waiting right under the surface of the water like a crocodile. A big, hot pink crocodile. Despite being a hunter, Scarlet is a gentle giant. He loves affection and, when he is at the lair, he can usually be found cuddling with a fellow clan-mate for hours on end.

B A C K S T O R Y
Scarlet was born naturally curious. He definitely got this from his mother, a large imperial born of the ice element who was never seen without her Dustrunner gear. His coloring was quite different from that of his parents, and, really, most of his clan-mates, for that matter, which made him less than great at the stealth they exceeded at, and so they'd often keep him inside. He still had it in him, his scales were just not on his side. When the others had gone, however, he would explore outside, despite the fact that he could be possibly spotted and hurt, maybe even killed. Eventually, after much self-discovery, Scarlet realized his favorite place to be was nature, specifically the water. The problem? The light territories don't have much of that. He decided to make his way out of the clan he was raised in and start wandering towards the nature and water territories. Luckily, the Tiderida frequent those parts. Scarlet immediately took a liking to the colorful bunch of pleasant dragons, and quickly joined them rather early on in their development. He's been a valuable addition ever since.
