Matriarch of the clan in Gloomy Hollow, and incredibly skilled in dark arts and alchemy. Possessed and warped by arcane entities, she has lost every last bit of herself. Nobody knows what she was like before, as she's scraped together her clan of hostages and abominations long after possession. She has wandered most of Sornieth, looking for nothing apparent, and honed her skills during the journey. She and her possessors were very pleased to find a particularly shadowy section of the Star Wood Strand upon returning home. It's quite possible that remnants of the shade reside in her territory.

There are many times where Khepri is entirely detached--nothing more than a bodily host for the entities. The only thing that seems to be able to snap her out of an entity-induced haze is Addona or Avignon speaking to her gently. The longer Addona and Avignon stay in Gloomy Hollow and tend to her, the calmer she seems to be. Lately, some of her dark scales are shedding and giving way to brighter colours...

Gloomy Hollow, the place she came to know as home, is indeed a hollow--a cave mouth in a cliffside that leads down into tunnels lit by glittering mushrooms. The tunnels go on for a mile or so and lead to plenty of individual clanmate lairs. A dragon could live in the hollow without ever leaving, as the tunnels all lead to an incredibly large crystal cavern with a partially open ceiling. A waterfall comes from this opening and pours into glassy pools, giving life to an abundance of flora in the cavern and often draws in animals. Khepri's own lair is a small cave carved out from the stone behind the falls. (The hollow is similar to areas 3 and 7 of the Jurassic Frontier and Blackreach).
