Biography
Something of a princess. The only hatchling of the founders who did not leave the clan to greater service. Heir apparent. Raised for her future, but perhaps a little spoiled regardless. A mirror, but raised by a fae and a mirror-turned-snapper, and so while she certainly displays some of the habits of mirrors, in many ways she doesn't resemble them at all outside of appearance. Fluent in the wordless language of the fae, which she is adept at mimicking with her own crest and wings. Inherited the gift of prophecy from her mother and the grace of the Tidelord, although she is still learning to aim it properly.
Her mother has emphasized restraint and preparedness for the role she will inherit--a system of inheritance is, by nature, one with risk, but also with reward if done correctly: Reina will be perfectly trained to lead the clan, and perfectly prepared to raise a child, related directly or through adoption, that will do the same thing. Reina is willing--a good study. As many mirrors do, she puts more faith in actions than words, but as a good leader should, she is struggling through learning the art of negotiation.
Born early on in the clan's lifespan, and curious as all hatchlings are, she earned the attention, doting or begrudging, of many of the adults who joined the clan. Being given little trinkets and easily welcomed in every cavern isn't something that's lost on her.
