Vulture was bought in the auction house alongside Ruby, so the two were raised together as littermates until the Guardian grew too big to play with her. Because she molts a lot more feathers in a more spaced out amount of time, she has an unnatural amount of feathers in her wings. Vulture is extremely energetic and twitchy, meaning that concentrating is extremely difficult for her. As a hatchling, she was often known for getting in the way and running around a lot of the time, and was often seen as quite the nuisance. When she grew up and was old enough to take up a duty, her energetic demeanour had not died down, so Alkira decided to give her the job of scouting the land and reporting any hazards. Since then, people have been a lot more accepting of her, though she still doesn't have a lot of friends. Despite this, she holds the two friends that she does have dearly. Ruby still shares much of the same playful attitude as before, even if the giant dragon has to be a lot more careful, and Jacques, as the one in charge of hunting, often hangs around Vulture as she's a frequent member of the hunting patrol, being able to catch prey at lightning fast speeds.
