Biography
Winds were mighty during the clan's first Mistral Jamboree. Despite the Windswept Plateau being all the way across the water, their boisterous celebration apparently knew no bounds. The Tangled Wood rustled violently.
Terissa ensured that everyone stayed indoors, less they be blown away. Talene and Analog sat impatiently at the lair's entrance, desperate to go play out in their natural element.
"This isn't fair, we should be out there soaking up the breeze!" Analog whined
"It's dangerous to play in the high winds here; there are too many trees and structures." Talene calmed him.
As the two lie in wait for the winds to die down, voices were heard in the distance. They piqued up in curiosity, and saw two small figures flying quickly in the lair's general direction. What started off as two small dots swiftly grew into two hatchling sized entities.
And hatchlings they were.
Talene leapt out of the lair to catch the wind-carried children before they could be pushed too far, struggling to safely maneuver herself back into the lair. Terissa and Diethelm swiftly came to her aid, prepared to scold her ruthlessly; that is, until the hatchlings were noticed.
Two male baby Spirals lay cradled in her arms, breathing heavily. They were rushed to Briar at once.
Aeolius was the older of the two; he was a strong flier, with lungs powerful enough to disrupt dragons of most sizes. He often did this when annoyed or bored. He loved to learn tricks of the breeze, and new ways to contort and play with his body on days of high winds. His devotion and admiration of his birth element placed him as the Wind representative of the lair.
Minninnewah, the younger, was much more intrigued with his new home of Tangled Wood. He loved to go out on the common stormy nights and fly in the rain, even as a baby; twisting and turning between the trees and stone as opposed to flying above it all. It was this dangerous play that got him and Aeolius sucked up in the winds the day they came there in the first place. A small part of Minninnewah was jealous that he was not picked as the main Wind dragon of the lair, but he quickly got over it.
