Avari

Avari was cunning and sly, intelligent and silent. He was the strongest magician anyone in the Lair had came across, and many of them were wandering travellers who had seen much magic in both bad and good will. Avari would protect those he loved with everything he had, and he had scars to prove it. However, to his enemies, he was a force to be reckoned with.

He considers himself an avenger and a protector. He grew up abandoned with no place to call home and fought for ages. He lost all that he was and had no name. His companion was just as fearsome as he, a creeping serpent that blended in so well with the shadows that he bore it's own name. The two were assassins and worked for coin and food, killing to survive. Avari became the greatest warrior, his connection to magic so strong some said he was touched by the Arcanist.

His home in the Starfall Isles was perfect for him, but soon he became too well known. Mercenaries were sent for his head almost daily, and everywhere he went there was a bounty on his head. Such fame and fortune can be bad for a dragon, so he and Shadow left their glorious homeland in search of a new place to live. They wandered far, until their names were but a whisper on the wind. They finally came to a place they could survive, a place where they could feel at home again.
