Bernward

Something is off about this dragon... It is a well known fact amongst the clan that Bernward has complete control over dark magic, however his motifs are questionable... Unlike one would typically suspect, he is not an arcane or even shadow dragon, but one of the Nature flight. Rumor has it that Bernward is out for revenge, but on who?

Even his name suggests something magical, and between his attire and coloring, this tundra is most certainly a sorcerer. He has always hated technology, even more so than Skyra, and plans on using Clockstryke's powers to reverse time. But Clockstryke, being one of the most loyal dragons, will not give him his power willingly. For years, Bernward has been trying to create potion after potion, brew after brew, just to find something to steal powers... Said to have been around since the early 1500's, he has seen the development of clockwork, circuits, computers, and artificial intelligence, and his only wish is to "turn back the clock and open the eyes of these ignorant modern-day day dragons." He wants revenge on the world for allowing themselves to be so dependent on creations instead of each other and magic and allowing his profession to fade, but mostly, he wants revenge on the lesder of the very clan he is in.


"There is no need to return to the past when the future lies ahead." he would always say. No reason? I could think of several. It is because of him that I have abandoned my studies and my clan. Although I could not return, sometimes, I miss them. All of this technology and strange computational devices has only pulled me further from my old clan. And since the Guardians are pushing their use so awfully much, I just can't seem to get away! I wish to head back to the time when magic was respected, before it was a lost art. I wish to turn back the hands of time and reunite with my family... Clockstryke... Always afraid to medal with time. What a shameful waste of such an astounding power. With that power, the world would be in my hands! Only enhanced by my powers normally, why yes, I could be stronger than any dragon in Sornieth! More powerful than the deities or the Guardians combined! Yes... I can feel it already!
If Clockstryke refuses to use his capabilities to travel through the fabric of time, then I will. If I could rewrite the past, I would make sure that electricity was never discovered! And I will. I don't mind who this effects, as they have all effected me in this same manor. Zane... a "technical wizard" the call him. I am curious as to how his "wizardry" compares to my true sorcery. These modern dragons need to learn a lesson. If you rely on one thing too much, you will always fall. They know no other way to live without electricity, and, well, it's time they learn. I already have a brew in the works that will work. I know it will! Clockstryke's powers will be mine, and so will the world! Now, now they will all see which class of dragons are truly the strongest warriors! Who should lead the world! I can protect my family, profession, history, and every dragon from themselves.

One thing that these dragons should know: In man versus nature, nature always wins.
