Caim

The plating on their chest is malformed bone, as are the spines jutting out from the dull cracked scales. They were an accidental creation when their mother tried to siphon off some of their father's over-active magic -- the same that spurred his disease to mutate and warp him. Encouraged by the High Priestess Abaddon who provided the pus-filled blisters of the Wyrmwound to hold the new energies -- without revealing that they were not empty sacs, but unfertilised eggs, thieved by the Priestess.

Their parents do not know they exist. Abaddon whisked them away before either Belial or Dakh could consider the possibility. Upon seeing their dying siblings cast aside in the Plaguemother's name, Caim fled, terrified of what Abaddon would have planned for a living child, carrying a deep and growing fear of the god he was born to.
