Had Cinderstorms father been a different Drake he might've had a different life. One easier and not one full of abandonment and whispered rumors from his clanmates that knew what Astro had done. But that's not how fate would have it, and Cinderstorm grew up an only child despite having two other siblings, smothered by his mother for the early two months of his life before she turned from him and back to the clan. Trying to claw back up her rank as Snowfurs trusted daughter and not the dragon that slept with Astro. Leaving Cinderstorm alone. Had it not been for the care of his grandfather, Jarey and his Familiar most speculate he would have been dead, but thanks to a mix of the two he grew up strong and healthy. Leaving the clan for a month to find his charge, finding it in a massive skull in the boneyard that he still hunts in. He returned to the clan with almost a different pattern entirely, however deciding to keep the hex on his wings it was a shot at completely disowning his father and everything he'd done. He quickly became the clans best hunter, rising in the ranks to earn Redeye's trust enough to lead whole patrols out into the hunting grounds on his own. The last thing Storm had ever expected would be to get a mate, but with the apprenticing of the Senior Warriors Eel and Lyza's young. A particular Red striped guardian took interest in him and refused to back down much to Storms dismay, Snowstep following him wherever he went when she could. Jarey joked that he was her charge (unknowingly right as always) Storm let this go on, often taking her out into the boneyard to show her his hunting grounds then staying there the whole night through with her talking, laughing, Being alive and happy for once.
His life's easier now, he spends every waking hour with Snowstep, they go exploring, often coming back with more bones and gems than the clan knows what to do with.
