Alyss

Alyss is a talented huntress formerly from a Nature clan; said clan was primarily focused on migration and function within the group, something Alyss could not properly fulfill with underdeveloped wings and unmatched clumsiness.
Upon exile, she fled lands native to her and sought out help which she received from a stoic Skydancer named Steelwing. The man taught her archery and survival so she could live on her own, after which she departed and set out for a life out in the wilds. By complete coincidence, she stumbled upon Sirius in his time of need, and chose to help and defend him when he needed it most. During their time together they formed a deep bond, and Sirius asked Alyss to stay in the clan when their adventure was over.

Alyss is shy and awkward; having spent a long time away from civilization, she struggles to adjust properly and can't connect with people well unless they persist. Her bond with Sirius is unique and impossible to replicate, considering. Despite this Alyss is loyal and brave, and kind to those that deserve it. She is a skilled huntress after years of practice, a practical fighter, and has good instincts on who to trust and when to run. However, she is not the brightest bulb, and fairly meek when her opinion isn't explicitly requested.

Since the clan's split and Sirius 180 degree turn in personality, a schism has formed between her, her best friend, and her position in the clan, and is fully prepared to leave if Sirius doesn't change his mind. She's driven to helping the people she had to leave behind, but unwilling to deal with unnecessary resentment and everlasting grief.
