______ The night Enola was conceived was a mistake. His father is the mate to Verity, the leader of the assassin subsection and his mother Piper is the ice ambassador to the clan. The two Skydancers had taken up with each other after a wayward glance was exchanged in passing. A few days later Piper noticed a discomfort in herself and later that day she laid her egg. Fear began to overwhelm her as the realized an attack might happen to her if Verity found out that her mate and laid with another dragoness. Piper did her best to hide the egg from the rest of the clan and especially Verity and Alastor. When the egg finally hatched the resemblance to Alastor was uncanny and chased young hatchling away from the clan. However, Verity has her suspicion about the hatchling and secretly vowed to follow the hatchling in case he slipped up and said who his parents were or acted similar to Alastor...... .

______ Due to being chased away from his clan as a hatchling, Alona learned to survive on his own. He is distant, cold and untrusting of other dragons. He has a sharp tongue to defend hisself with and has no qualms of being aggressive with other dragons if they threaten him or try to become too close. However he is seized by fear in his dreams as a large plague female Imperial follows him and whispers that she knows his secret and one day will find him to extract her revenge.
