Beaver never really expected warmth from others, so the enthusiastic welcome that she got when joining Terra's clan caught her off guard. She made friends quickly, growing especially close to Alba, who was the clan's librarian at the time. She immediately became enamored with the idea of maintaining a library and helped Alba out as much as she could, getting to know the ageing snapper along the way. One day, Alba confessed that she was not really feeling up to the job anymore, and wanted very badly to retire. Beaver promised to keep the library running and organized, and Alba finally took her vacation. Alba's mate was gone, and nothing was really tying to her to the clan, so she left.

It was lonely for Beaver for a while after Alba left, but she quickly bonded with other dragons. Thorn is a good friend to her, and since he also tends to frequent the library and help out the two have gotten to know eachother fairly well. She is still lonely at times but she enjoys her work a lot and wouldn't give it up or move anywhere else for the world.

Beaver is a rather quiet-spoken dragon who hates when undue attention is drawn to her, but can become very goofy and relaxed when she shares the company of people she trusts. She loves books, antiques, and mechanical things, though she doesn't know much about them.

Beaver hoards bookmarks of all kinds, though she seems to lose them way more than possible. Her bogsneak puppet was given to her by Pungens when he found out that she liked things like that, and she treasures the sentient toy with all of her heart.
