Spitfire

In the land where only the toughest dragons dare tread,
Spitfire the fierce made this her homestead.
Between the wasteland, desert, and plain,
is a treasure so dear she hopes to gain.
Her trusted companion, a bird of bad sight,
stands tall beside her ready to fight.
The goings are tough don't you agree,
All the others would give up or turn and flee.
But Spitfire is strong, Spitfire is fierce,
From enemies and thorns her skin could not pierce.
Scavenging items from the present and past,
From the morning till dusk, Spitfire will last.
They are scattered here, they are scattered there,
to do this job a Fossilized Fern must be everywhere.
Her great dodo is as hooded as she,
does fine without the comfort of the Glade trees,
for to the Homeground Trees the items are brought,
To be used or sold these items are sought.
With wisdom like hers this comes with ease,
the best days follow with a nice breeze.
But these items do not come just for free,
for Spitfire must face her heartless enemy.
Try to stop her and attack her they will,
but facing her is like a battle uphill.
With one slap of the wrist and flap of the tail,
Spitfire's enemies know they will fail.
Find ever yourself as a lucky recruit,
can you be as mighty as the balmy brute?
Though her appearance is avoided at first sight,
the others see her as lively as fire at night.
These places can change for the worse in a twirl,
do you dare still follow into the uncharted new-world.
Avoid the eyes of both red and brown,
Tis is a palpable place a sundown.
Still she dare go forth into the unrelenting unknown,
She is the queen of this treacherous estate that she calls her own.
