Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this earthy shadow wandered a little too far from her home lair (281894, SkeleGiraffe), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Zeline is a quiet girl but loves making new friends even though it's a little difficult for her. She'd really love to make her way over to shadow flight territory at some point. Feel free to add to her bio, swap out her apparel and familiar, or regene her!
Zeline’s talons dug into the parched earth. The ominous night sky swathed in her in a sickly green glow. She did not know how she got here—she did not know if she even wanted to be here. But she was tired, thirsty, hungry, and ill.
She eyed the settlement warily. If she listened closely, she could hear a low murmur. It was the voices of dragons. They would be the first signs of life she had seen in days if she only had the confidence to step forward.
But she did not have to, for a small wildclaw approached her. He was all smiles and chatter, never once stopping his idle talk as he escorted her to the town. They quickly became friends and she found that he was in charge of a daycare there. With him, she helped raise two children.
She followed them soon after they left the nest. She said goodbye to her friend with a heavy heart, but she knew that she was destined for adventure.
It took awhile, but Zeline finally ended up in the Tangled wood! She was so excited to see the lands of the shadow dragons, and soon found a clean that welcomed her to stay with them. The dragons there seemed friendly enough, but she had a hard time getting close to anyone due to her shyness. She watched some of the dragons come and go, and one day while out exploring, she happened upon a sad looking Tundra.
Her first instinct was to leave her alone, in case she didn't want to be bothered, but Zeline found herself looking back at the poor thing a few times. Finally, she worked up the courage to get a little closer. "Hey! Are you okay?" she called.
The Tundra looked up slowly, her tail swishing in a way that looked nervous to the ridgeback. "I... I'm kind of lost," she replied quietly.
Zeline took pity on the Tundra, frowning, wanting to help her. Quickly, her expression changed to a happier one. "Aww, don't worry! You can come stay with me!" She paused "Well, I think? I.. uh, I'm kind of just visiting, but the clan I'm staying with seems pretty nice!"
"You're a traveler?" the tundra asked.
"Sure am!" Zeline said, beaming proudly. "I've been wanting to see the Tangled Wood for awhile now! It's really nice."
"It's... definitely not the worst I've seen. A bit spooky, but that's all."
The ridgeback laughed. "I hear that a lot. Come on! Let's go see if you can stay with us for awhile. Oh! I'm Zeline, by the way." She felt a little silly for not introducing herself right away, and hoped the tundra wouldn't notice her blushing.
"My name's Purity," she replied. "And.. thank you."
Zeline brought Purity to the clan leaders, who welcomed her to stay with them, although they seemed a little indifferent to yet another dragon's arrival. She still had a hard time making friends with some of the other dragons, but at least she found Purity a bit easy to talk to.
However, only a week or two after the tundra arrived, the ridgeback found her packing one day.
"Are you leaving?" Zeline asked
"I am. It's been nice staying here, but I'm ready to move on."
"I understand. I think I'll stay awhile longer though. Oh, before you go, I have a present for you!"
"Oh?"
She darted off, and soon returned with a cute hat, similar in color to the clothes Purity arrived in. "Here you go! I thought this would look nice on you." She fidgeted a bit, but smiled, hoping to hide her nervousness. "I-I'm kind of new at picking out gifts. I hope you like it."
"It's lovely," Purity said, smiling contently as she put the hat on. "It was very thoughtful of you. Thank you, Zeline."
The ridgeback grinned, pleased that she liked her gift. "Maybe we'll meet again some day!"
Purity smiled. "I hope so. Farewell!"
Zeline spent a few more weeks with the nameless shadow clan until she was finally ready to move on.
