Biography

Long abused under the leadership of a red arcane mirror named Yaal, Mel became fearful and pliant. After being replaced as their leader's mate after they moved to the Abiding Boneyard, Mel was left to her own devices. Those in the clan knew she wouldn't survive, and Neikor the snapper sought a way for her to leave without Yaal's notice.

He found her sanctuary in the clan called Tenbrook. Surely his home clan would provide her with a safe place for her to recover. After many correspondences, it was arranged, and Mel was met by the fae named Ghostfire, a fellow plague dragon who had found his home there in the Tenbrook clan. He led her to the safety of the clan, and once there, a guardian named Damacus took notice of her, claiming her as his mate, and from there, she has been safe ever since.

Because of Yaal's torment, however, she has many mental scars and holds a fear of other mirrors, especially red ones. The other mirrors in the clan have let her be, and maybe in time she will join them in their continuous circuit around the edges of the Tenbrook territories. Her daughter Bubonic certainly hopes so.
