Lineage

Biography

Name: Kebechet
Status: leader
Occupation: (sometimes) murderous

Kebechet collects living birds and tears off their heads to let them rot. After a while, she goes back and collects their skulls for her outfit. She also is going to be the next clan leader, and is vengeful and has a terrifying past of abuse and being stuck in a huge clan raid. She is secretive and does not wish to speak to any Dragons other than the ones close to her. she often wanders and brings back dead bodies, including other Dragons from different clans.
Kebechet also sometimes brings back living dragons (by PlagueBringer's order) and drops them in her newest concoction in her Wyrmwound, sometimes causing them to writhe in pain and their skin to shrivel and fall off while their organs explode from the heat. Other times, they turn to rock or amber (see rotbone's description for more) or even turn to strange beasts that the Plaguebringer sometimes uses to patrol her territory.

Kebechet’s Past

Fire.
Ice.
Emptiness.
Kebechet woke, the sounds of wailing from her sibling, Raal, in his crib and the sounds of screaming and fire from outside. Kebechet leapt to her feet, unfortunately, however, she was still a newborn at the time and had no experience with moving on her two feet, thus she dropped to the padded crib almost instantly.
The sound of a door slamming open and a dragon frantically leaping inside crawled into Kebechet’s ears, and she turned around to face her mother, Miqu, panting and clutching one of her front talons on her chest, a horrible wound underneath it. Miqu leapt for the two cribs, grabbing both of her children in her single, muscular talon.
Miqu scrambled out the door, a trail of blood in her wake as she got weaker and weaker from the excessive amounts of blood she was leaving behind. Eventually, she collapsed to the ground just to the edge of the Shadowbinder’s territory, a large, gaping forest.
Miqu slowly rose upward, her talons still clutching the wailing babies.
“Here,” she said, in her soft voice, carefully lifting the two dragonets to the grass-covered ground.
“This is as far as I can take you. Farewell, I hope to see you again one day….” Her gaze drifted to the battlefield that was once her home. Then, she looked back at Miqu and Raal, her eyes starting to fill with tears. “I promise you that.”
She set down the small and fragile younglings, tears drifting across her face, and without another word she limp-ran back to her destroyed home, now covered with ice breath.

Kebechet started awake, her breath ragged and fearful. She clutched her heart with one of her front talons, and looked around her.
She lived in a small den with her brother, the walls lined with pots and pans and herbs, most of the leaves dried and the pots unkempt. Next to Kebechet was her brother’s nest, pretty, nice, and made to make sure even the smallest stick was in place and order.
Kebechet sighed. It was just a dream. True, a dream that actually happened, but still, better in the past than right now. She heard clanging in the kitchen, and she already knew her brother was making some fancy breakfast for them, as usual.
