i got this town for my birthday! it's the only physical copy of the game i have, with my partner's copy being installed directly on the 3ds we share. this is the first time i've ever gotten to design a town, so i really went all-out! every restart was worth it, too - i couldn't be more satisfied with the way things are set up now.
in the upper left corner of opacity's map, we have the town hall and re-tail with just enough space for the mayor's house in between. after that, there's the train station and the entrance to the shopping district, all in one beautiful line.
as you can imagine, there were plenty of villagers who didn't make it through the many resets it took to reach to the final version of opacity. here's some highlights from what could have been:
