Komorrow

It is said that the greatest things often happen by accident, and so it was for Komorrow. Born in the Clan of the Singing Bamboo she was given the childhood name of Moondust for her silvery colored wings. She had a younger sister, and the two got along well most of time.

Her gentle demeanor drew her to her equally gentle father, she could often be found sleeping near or on top of the imperial while her more rambunctious sister was the one that caused mischief. Following her father soon turned into helping her father with his gardening duties. Tez often told her many stories of knights and heroes as they worked, turning her into a romantic like him. It was while she was digging to make space for a new orchard that she found her first relic, it was a small stone knife, weathered smooth by time and wear. She was confused on how this knife ended up buried there, so she asked her father. He told her that it belonged to a tribe that had disappeared long before the clan had even been created. She was fascinated by the thought of other dragons or creatures living here in the past. She wanted to know more, but for the first time, her father didn't have all the answers. As a result, she sought out the next best thing, the library.

She spent many days among tomes and scrolls. She learned about the many civilizations that came before dragonkind, but there were still many unknowns even to this day. It was no use, if she wanted to know more she would have to discover that knowledge herself. Therein lied another problem, Komorrow was a wind dragon, and wind magic is not very suited for archaeology and completely opposite of earth magic, the most suited for said job. Fortunately there were a few earth dragons in the clan.

It took some convincing and cajoling but she eventually got the young courier Jairo to help her between deliveries. It only made it a bigger disappointment when numerous searches around the camp showed only a few small trinkets scattered around the hill. With a heavy heart she decided, if there was nothing near home, she would have to find a new place where to continue her research.
