Biography

Dawn Breaker.

His mate lay's the eggs at dawn and both she and Granite return every dawn to see to the nest and to make certain that it remains untouched. They never lay their eggs in the same place twice unless they have absolutely no choice but to do so.

Like his mate Granite too chases the dawn all across Sornieth. Granite is a traveling trader for the clan selling his wares all across the lands to as many clans as possible in the limited time he has. Luckily for Granite, his mate has learned the trade from him and helps him to peddle the clans wares while out on their journeys.

Mate: Jewel.

Dawn Breaker Lore.

The dawn breaker is hatched from an egg that is berried deep underground with moss, stick's and leaves covering the freshly dug earth so as to better camouflage the nest from raiders. Eggs always hatch at the first light of dawn when the first rays of light touch the ground directly over the nests. Never laying their eggs in the same place twice has lead to some of the dawn breakers hatching in a different area of Sornieth. Mainly a light dominant species most are hatched with light eye's though on rare occasions they can be found with the eye colour of the other flights.

There are those of the Dawn Breaker kind who settle into clan life all over Sornieth and lay their eggs in the safety of the clans nesting grounds for the rest of their natural lives. Only ever venturing outside the clans lairs at the first light of dawn and returning just as the sun starts to slip higher into the sky, leaving them to sleep for the rest of the day and the night that follows. Hatchlings are the exception to this and tend to spend most of their time awake though this depends on the individual hatchling.
