Tacita

Tacita and her sibling Nav come from a primarily Light-based clan, but the dragons residing within are very diverse and take in all different types of dragons in the continent, so two 'shadow-like' dragons did not shock them. However, these two hatched at dusk unlike other hatchlings in the clan which usually hatch at dawn, thus the clan they come from believes they have something special or different to them to separate them from the others.

As they aged, the clan began to notice just what made the twins special- Their gift of reading and memory. No written language or magical barrier could prevent them from accessing the writing inside of a book. Knowledge is their power, but immense power does seem to cripple the user.

With age and growth in power it became apparent that Tacita would no longer speak. The world with its cruel need to balance everything, stole Tacita's voice.
