Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this nosy nocturne wandered a little too far from her home lair (Evaria, 3674), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

"Where are you going?" Kismet asked loudly, watching the gorgeous, purple-striped Mirror packing her bags in a secluded room of the den. The younger dragon jumped suddenly, dropping the package of dried rabbit meat she had been putting away; she spun around with her head crests stretched wide, but relaxed them a bit as she realized the Nocturne meant no harm.
"When did you get here?!" The Mirror tried to ask in an angered tone, but her giggling quickly broke the façade. She couldn't help but laugh when she was startled.
"I've been watching you for a while! The other clan members got made at me for 'snooping,' so I thought I'd come in here instead." The Nocturne explained, with a little grin on her face.
"Well, I can certainly see why. You sure are nosy, aren't you?" The Mirror turned around, beginning to pack up once again. The Nocturne's habits of barging into other dragons' business was quite annoying, but she would admit that she did appreciate the company regardless. "As for where I'm going, I'm a traveler. I stayed in this lair long enough, and they seem to be pretty cramped for space, so I thought I'd do them a favour by hitting the road again."
Kismet lowered her head sadly. "...you're leaving already? But we just got here!"
"You mean you've been following me since I left my last lodging?!" The Mirror snapped, head fins rising again: now she was annoyed for real.
"Well, of course! How could I ignore such a pretty dragon? I just had to follow you and see where you were going! It's not like my old clan would miss me, anyways; they kept saying I was 'annoying' and 'disrupting their privacy'..." Kismet folded her wings in around herself, her eyes sparkling with sadness. "I was just... really happy to have a dragon who didn't seem to mind my company. I should've known you didn't even notice me to begin with."
The Mirror quickly dropped her angry disposition. She rushed over to Kismet and wrapped her tail around the bat-like dragon, saying in a reassuring tone, "No, it's okay! I was just surprised to hear I was being followed this whole time, is all. I kinda wish you had just told me you wanted to accompany me on my travels, but it isn't a big deal! I know now, and I'd be happy to have you travel with me."
Kismet smiled softly, and she nodded. "My name is Kismet... I don't think I ever got yours?"
Her Mirror friend smiled right back. "My name is Sugarplum." She replied.
The next lair the new friends found themselves in was the land of the Windsinger. A smallish lair of around 64 dragons of varying species, mostly coatls. The lair was frequently accepting travelers and had become somewhat of a rest-stop for many, with it's open arms policy.
In fact, Kismet spotted another travelling dragon, a snapper named Ranho and pointed him out to Sugarplum who sparked up a conversation.
He was on his way to another lair, the small flock of hatchlings trying his patience, but as he complained a young Imperial tied a pretty aqua armbow to his leg, "To remember her by," She'd said.
As they bid the snapper goodbye, Kismet looked a little sad.
"What's up, Kis?" her mirror friend asked.
"Well..."The nocturne started a bit embarrassed, "it's just sweet she gave him a treasure to take with him on his journey is all..."
Sugarplum sighed, a smile tugging at her lips, "And you want one too..."
"And I want one too!" she reiterated happily, glad her friend knew her so well.
It wasn't long before the small clutch of freshly hatched babies approached the travelling dragons with gifts for them as well.
"I wanted to get you a buttercup neck bow," The little imperial girl huffed, "But my brother insisted you both match since you're best friends."
"Purple's a better color and you know it!" The hatchling's brother pouted, sticking his tongue out at his sister before presenting the pretty bows to the two dragons, "We tied them ourselves! Sorry they're a little lopsided...We hope you like them!"
Kismet smiled, "Oh I love it, thank you!"
"Matches me perfectly, thank's kids!" Sugarplum grinned, carefully slipping the pre-tied ribbon over her head and frills. She turned to her travelling buddy with a bigger smile than she'd intended, "Happy now?"
"Very!"
