Kyuketsuki

He stared bewildered at his familiar, Vanro. It's blue face covered in his blood. Kyuketsuki didn't understand why his friend attacked him. Blood seeped out of the bite mark on his neck. He put his claws on it and applied some pressure to try and stop the bleeding. It stung quite a bit and started to make him nauseous. Pulling his claws away, he sighed. "It'll stop on it’s own.. it's not that bad anyway.." Varno took off into the air, flying far away into the darkness. That was fine. Kyuketsuki wanted nothing to do with his familiar. He just walked home and slept...
He awoke with a start. He took a shuddering breath and looked around the room. It was his den. Varno hung from the ceiling, still asleep. Sighing in relief, he layed his head back down and relaxed. The dream had been strange. All he could hear were heart beats and all he could see was blood. So much blood. He could still taste it... "Wait..." He licked his lips. It tasted like blood. And his canines were longer than before. "B-blood..?" He quickly got to his feet and ran toward the pool of water at the edge of the den. His dark red belly was gone. His face was covered in blood and so were his fangs. He had dark red runes across his body and they hurt. It all hurt. He backed away and stared at the bat on the ceiling. "What did you do to me...?"
