Basalt

Basalt, being bought, is not based on a character of mine. He is rather interesting, though!

He, as a Pearlcatcher, can be vain at times and often eavesdrops; that is to say, he sticks his nose where it does not belong. Fennik often pries bits of information from him; Geliad does the same.

Despite his vanity, Basalt still withholds a very intellectual nature, inquisitive and interested in nearly everything. As a hatchling, he had a habit of snatching his clutchmates pearls; he still will take things from the others in the lair. Small things, always, so as to go undetected; his Longneck often uses her small magic to help him in his shenanigans.
