Moroes is considered somewhat of an oddity, compared to his siblings.

While his brother Medivh was extremely terrifying at any given time, and his other brother Karazhan seemed somewhat mentally unstable while bursting with power, Moroes was... calmer. Moroes gives off a somewhat ghostly, unnatural appearance. While some dragons thrive off their soul being dominated by a demon (hint: Medivh), Moroes' body is not handling the stress particularly well. This perhaps is what causes him to become more subdued and less threatening to other dragons compared to other Haunted Souls. Moroes frequently suffers from nightmares, often plagued by a recurring nightmare that his brother Medivh will find him and rip him to shreds. As a hatchling, Medivh was not unkind to his brothers yet this nightmare does not surprise Moroes- Medivh is truly a haunting presence.

Despite his inner warring with the demon, Moroes is still a Haunted Soul and a considerable force to be reckoned with. Moroes' specialty involves fast and fatal hits- opponents are gone before they realise he has even moved. Moroes has a wealth of tricks up his proverbial sleeves, including poisoning techniques, the ability to sudden vanish and reappear elsewhere, incredible blade skills and many more. Althugh equipped with these abilities, Moroes tends to avoid any skirmish if at all possible and is generally a pleasant dragon to be around. Far more sociable than his family, he would be welcomed into most clans.

Moroes is suited to a role of a Steward. This enables him to exercise his talent of property management, and provide security for his beloved household. Dragons who live within his domain would never feel unsafe.
