Uh-oh, looks like this adventurous little Fae wandered a little too far from her home lair (Windshear, #289922), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to her home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Ruby had been traveling for quite some time when she stumbled across a clan in mourning. Clan Aequorentis was holding a memorial service for several dragons, and she couldn't help but be curious as to why so many dragons lives had been lost.
She soon found out that there had been a mutiny, and many dragons had laid down their lives protecting both the clan leader and the attempted usurpers. She was told of how she was the first traveler to come by the clan since the incident, and she was invited to stay.
She could see the discomfort this suggestion caused, however, and left shortly after meeting the clan.
After leaving the morning clan, Ruby found herself back in the Starwood Strand. It was getting dark, and the Fae didn't want to be left on her own out here. She ran into a red and pink scaled Spiral, and it was the Spiral who suggested that the wandering Fae come and rest at their lair. On the way to the lair Ruby found that the Spiral's name was Queenie. The Fae easily befriended the small clan, but a Plague born Mirror hatchling caught her attention the most. She offered to travel with him for a bit, and was happy when Myca agreed.
Her travels with Myca were brief, parting only a few days after. Saddened by this, Ruby ventured back to the Starwood Strand in hopes of finding the clan she had befriended. However, the thick trees proved to be difficult to navigate, leaving the small fae incredibly lost. She ran in circles trying to find a way out, only to come across a snow white Coatl with glowing pink eyes hidden behind thick goggles. He invited her to stay with his group and offered to help guide her through the forest once she had rested. He introduced himself as Chipahui while guiding her through the trees. Once with the group, they entertained Ruby with tales of far lands and the adventures the members had been though. Ruby stayed far longer than intended, but the tales reminded of her of adventures she would encounter during her own travels. Once she was guided to the edge of the Starwood's, Chipahui offered her a gift. 'May it follow you as a reminder of who you have met and where you have been'. With that the Coatl disappeared into the trees, leaving the Fae with her new companion to continue her travels.
Ruby's adventures brought her to a friendly, closely-knit clan in the Light flight next. She quickly bonded with the clan leader, a purple Fae named Myura, and shared many tales of her adventures with the hodgepodge group of dragons that seemed more like family than just clanmates. The Otherworldly Aura that Chipahui had gifted her proved itself to be an adept bone scavenger, to the great disapproval of fellow bone scavengers Bones and Adonis when it began 'borrowing' from their collections.
Not too long before Ruby was planning to head out on her travels again, Myura approached her with a slightly frayed, well-worn white tunic, the perfect size for a Fae. "It used to be mine when I was an adventurer. It kept me warm on many cold nights." She explained. "Now that I've settled down and don't often leave my lair, I'd love to see another traveller put it to good use."
Early in the morning, wrapped up warm in her tunic, Ruby flitted gently through the warm air of the Lightweaver's domain, admiring the formidable ruins stretching into the sky all around her one final time; she was off to a new adventure now, in another clan! -Volrin
It's been a long journey. Ruby has journeyed to several clans, but her adventures have finally brought her back to familiar faces.
She had not expected to meet her former Clan again. When she had last seen her family, they were an Arcane clan, and had no intention of moving.
But when Ruby ventured across the Southern Icefield, she could hardly believe her eyes when she ran into a patrol from her clan. They led her back to the clan, where she was welcomed eagerly by her worried father, Fallen. Fallen explained to her that the clan was forced to move after rogue dragons drove them out. Fallen had worried that Ruby would never find them again- but she did.
Ruby didn't know if her stay was permanent. But for now, for a short time, she was glad to be back around the loving dragons she had grown up with. -Windshear
Ruby saw Duskstorm the Second in Command of the Clan and wished her life ended at that moment when she offered KFC
