Schmidt beamed proudly. "Yes, this is my son," she said. "He's a chip off the old block. Doesn't he look just like his parents?" Elano threw on a grin as well. "We couldn't be more proud of him. The best hunter in his clan, that's what he is! What a polite lad, too. And there ain't nobody didn't comment on how handsome he is when they's first 'seein him!" Yeah, right, Angel thought. Angel's parents always pretended to love him dearly in public, but when they got back to their cave, Schmidt and Elano were both beastly to him. Angel was definitely not looking forward to when he returned home.

"Stupid! You sure took your time getting water from the well! Having fun and amusing yourself, no doubt!" Angel flinched. "It was a rainy day," he said in his defense. "I had a hard time flying." Schmidt wrinkled her snout in disgust. "Excuses, excuses! Next time you're late you'll be getting a good clout to the head! Now when I return I expect to see the whole cave swept, do you hear?! And don't you try reading your stupid scrolls behind my back again! You know how well that turned out last time." Then, with a sneer, Schmidt was off. Angel sighed. You don't have to put up with this, he reminded himself. You could always run away.
Angel knew this, of course. He knew that he could escape from the Arcane flight, from the parents that never loved him. The mother who wanted a daughter. The father who didn't want hatchlings at all. But there was a part of him that whispered the truth: You'll never survive a day out there by yourself.

I'm done. I'm leaving. That afternoon had been the last straw. Angel's parents had sent him to go up to the Cystalspine Reaches to deliver a sack of gems to his aunt.
During a blizzard.
During a blizzard! I could've died! I could've gotten lost! My idiot parents. Treating their son like a slave! So, naturally, Angel decided to run. There was nothing left to do.

"....I killed her." Angel kept his back to the stone wall, listening. His eyes widened when he heard the fae say those three terrible words. I killed her. The words seemed to match with the beating of his heart:
I-killed-her. I-killed-her. I-killed her. He closed his eyes and covered his ears, but he could still hear everything- He could still hear the scraping of claws against stone. He could still hear the pained screeching. He could still feel the sticky blood pooling at his feet...
And the whole time, his heart beat out those same three words.

It had been years.
Years since Angel was in the Arcane flight. Years since he overheard that terrible conversation in Light territory.
Years since he was last unhappy.
He was in the Shadow flight now. He had a mate, even. Her name was Forrest. And she was the best thing that ever happened to him.
"What happened to him?" asked angel. "I dont know..... i just hope i can find him and get my revenge.." said Forrest.
Three days later....
"Thats him!" Forrest screeched. "Thats my dad!"
"Go get him, tiger!" Angel cheered.
Forrest glared at the fae standing above her.
"F..F..Forrest?" He said. "I...I..I thought i killed you..."
Forrest's eyes turned Pitch black.
"Hello. My name is Forrest." she said. "You are Sid."
"Y..Y..Yes!" he said.
"Prepare to Die." she said.
The only witnesses of Sid's death were Forrest and Angel.
"Let nobody find out." She said to Angel.
The last thing Sid felt was Forrest's claw about to slit his throat.
The last thing Sid Heard was Forrest saying "Dasidvanya!" (Russian for Until we meet again)
The last thing Sid saw was Forrest's Pitch black eyes.

Graveyard of Peeb-people:
They were overwhelmed.
The peebs were too obsessed.
The peebs were hungry and ate them.
The peebs stole their soul.
They became one with the peeb willingly.
The peeb army overran them.
