Biography
"Gather, young ones, and I shall impart all I know to you."
Carrying herself much like a queen though humble enough not to completely act like one, Rhiannon has made a firm place for herself as a matriarch in nearly all matters of the clan. A rumored pupil of the Arcanist himself and learned in anything and everything found throughout the world, this pink-clad bog doesn't act like she's above others. Instead she holds class at a school she personally started to best prepare any dragon who will listen to the wonders and hazards of the world beyond the clearing she uses for such sessions. All but an official incarnation of benevolence and kindness to all deserving of such consideration, Rhiannon turns no one away from their potential as scholars, advisors or for the truly brutish, warriors keen on learning about the tactics of the distant past.
Yet this beloved teacher of untold dragons is not above protecting her clan when the enemy manages to cross every line of defense. Her claws and magic are a force to be reckoned with, wearing the mantle of protector and mother-figure like her Starlight Cloak. And she has big paws to fill, the noted replacement of Bedelia, a massive Guardian who had taken her role seriously and wouldn't have given in to the call of the Shadowbinder without some assurance that her clan would be safe. Rhiannon has been working hard to measure up since day one, never allowing herself an ounce of pride and confidence that isn't marginally deserved.
Dark scales forever cast in the borderline toxic glow of the Starfall Isles and its often destructive deity, Rhiannon doesn't let anything deter her from giving the best advice and tutelage to all her students. She takes immense pride in seeing them gather in the warm glow of her god's power imparted to her in turn, willing and able to protect the youngest from danger and foolish choices at the right moments. She'll tell you she's not sensitive in that regard, but everyone suspects she got more than a standing post in the Observatory than she let's on.
At the end of the day, one can only take heart in knowing the worst she gets up to is grading papers, writing journals and occasionally taking her Otherworldly Aura out for a walk in the glow of the Tangled Wood mushrooms. We're not about to question the habit as Rhiannon does all the walking and no one wants to know where the Aura even came from. Or even where it could be right now, or might appear again which is frightful enough to wonder. It not only has no legs, but its skull for a face is still a mystery in terms of classification.
Let's just say its the remains of a manticore or something. Whatever needs to be said to make the thing less creepy.
