Deity that Pulls and Pushes the Tides

As a lesser deity under Serenade, he embodies the edge of night and day over the ocean. As such, he controls the tides, causing the push and pull of the waves. Some believe that he also affects the emotions of dragons, pushing and pulling at their souls. It's also why some believe that odd attractions between dragons is Kundiman's way to draw destined souls together.



Kundiman is a genre of traditional Filipino love songs. The lyrics of the Kundiman are written in Tagalog. The melody is characterized by a smooth, flowing and gentle rhythm with dramatic intervals. Kundiman was the traditional means of serenade in the Philippines.
