He was unsettling, from the way he moved- his body smooth like a snake but his limbs jerking and twitching periodically- to the way he smelled - like a corpse in a freezer too long. His glowing eyes pierced and locked onto whomever he was speaking to, leaving them thinking of the experience like being watched by a ghost.

Really, they weren't far off.

Once, he had been a Wraith, cursed with icy cold rotting flesh on his appendages and muzzle, but when he arrived in the isles, Almond took a strange interest in the ruined beast and healed him as much he could using the aid of Emil. The result was too much light magic for the husk Raithe had become as he left his previous home, and it burst in cracks though his skin. Only through binding him with blessed silks did the creature survive- if his odd and long existence could be called surviving.

The pair brough him away, to a sanctum they had constructed for Almond's patients to reside away from distrusting eyes on the isles, and there he rests and waits- though for what he is not sure, Almond tells him the day will come soon.
