Haima was raised during the golden years of the clan's stay in the Ashfall Waste. She carries herself with a noble air, as she is a direct descendant of the clan's leader, Paliamut, but disagrees wholeheartedly with the clan's current Plague standing. Hai's mother, Shadis, was a ruthless beast of destruction who reveled in violence and warfare and was generally a nuscance within the clan for going on various rampages. Only when Shadis discovered that her charge was the Flamecaller Herself, did her mind clear and she became a stout protector of The Great Furnace, leaving the clan for good.

Unfortunately, Hai never saw this side of her mother and bitterly became a warrior of Fire and justice. She enforces order within the clan and leads organized raids on local hostile Beastclan settlements. Hai's dedication to Fire remains strong, and supports their efforts when Plague isn't fighting for dominance among the other flights, but her loyalty to the clan is stronger.

During times of dominance-associated warfare against Fire, however, Hai bitterly sides with Plague.
