Sargo is a spirit of strength. He favors living things that live in deep, dark places and in harsh environments. It makes him proud to see them thrive. Rarely he will use his magic to encourage their growth; he can do much more with his corporeal form.

He doesn’t protect these beings so much as he enjoys spending time with them. He has his own hobbies and talents, including testing the strength of others. Poisons are his forte. He hawks them to other clans and merchants, both the raw ingredients and the elixirs. He knows exactly how strong each poison needs to be to knock out dragons of different sizes, and how much would be needed to kill. Being a spirit, a poison would do little to him but make him feel off.

Much of his existence has been spent with clans, developing close relationships over time. Yet they always drift, in one way or another. The other dragons leave or Sargo gets bored. The differences between him and dragons becomes stark. Then he moves on, selling his wares on the road until he finds a new place to settle down.

With Caesius’ clan, at the edge of the Tangled Wood, he’s found another home. A home made of spirits. Sargo isn’t confident that it will last any longer than the rest of his homes. Even spirits drift or fade away, and a clan made of individuals who keep to themselves is sure to dissolve in time.

For now, his connection to Sonora, his mate, is strong. Sonora exists as if in defiance of nature itself, exhibiting a strength that leaves Sargo in awe. He courted them with gifts of amber--suitable, he thought, considering their fondness for gems--and now helps them repair damaged dragon eggs that they may turn into living hatchlings. His magic lets these brought-back children grow as large and strong as their potential once was. He’s not entirely certain they know they died once before, but he’s certain they know they are loved.
