╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Stoic and reserved, Amias is the guardian of the Corvidae Coelum, arching his wide, opalescent wings across the skies as he fights for the clan. While he usually does not require a weapon due to his crystal hide and talons, the imperial prefers to wield a bow and arrows anyways, able to take out potential threats from afar before dropping into close combat with his claws if necessary.

While he is arguably the most important dragon in the clan, for he watches over the well-beings of the other dragons, Amias is distant from a majority of the dragons, who are too busy with their own tasks to actively interact with him. However, Amias does not mind, for he finds his own task of guarding the clan to be much more important than socialising with everybody else.

Amias often wears a blindfold over his eyes, finding his senses heightened when he wears the brown cloth. However, he does take it off sometimes, usually when he rests while Nyxia takes over safeguarding the clan for a short while at night. He also takes off the blindfold when he talks to the other members of the clan, or when he isn't involved with his guard duties. Sometimes, Blair even manages to convince Amias to pull off his blindfold when there aren't any prominent threats during his long shifts, finding the idea of being cut off from the wonderful sights of the Sunbeam Ruins to be ridiculous.

He is often wise and has a lot of good advice for the dragons of the clan, even the demigods and founders, when they talk to him. He often doesn't approach many dragons of his own accord, excluding talking to dragons regarding his duties as the guardian of the clan.

Amias is rather close to Blair, who often seeks him out and talks to him during his shifts. He is also close to Fujiko and Ankoku, the two founders of the clan. While they do not interact frequently, Amias also has a mysterious relationship with Petrichor, one that is platonic and good, but the contents of which nobody knows of.

Heliades

Light Flight Subspecies

Rosy Peryton

Filigree Rapier

Morganite
Lore: Roosting in the beacon of the radiant eye, at the point where sun and sea merge… One may find descendants of the Heliades. Imperials in service to Lightweaver, they heralded the sun across the sky each day. The light refracted off their lithe, crystalline bodies and filtered through diaphanous wings the Heliades are oft mistaken for rays of light.

Habits: Heliades are cold blooded and all their body heat is absorbed from the sun, sunbathing is a common occurrence when not otherwise occupied in work or pleasurable pursuits. Renowned Fliers, these luminous Imperials dance across the sky as if executing a delicate ballet. Moving with a supple grace, these skills are not just beautiful to watch at dawn and dusk, but crucial for mating displays, hunting, and defense. For years it was widely believed that the Heliades were mute, but recent discoveries suggest that they instead communicate through a melodic croon, the vibration of the vocal chords resonating with the crystal.

Diet: This species prefers high perches with views overlooking the water, hunting involves cliff diving and skimming the waves for fish. Though it should be noted that ancients need very little and subsist almost purely on nectar- a kind of dewey, liquified sunlight that collects at high altitude.

Combat: Heliades do not normally engage in combat but when pushed these creatures of light, children of the sun, vanguards to Lightweaver; prove to be formidable opponents. Crystal hide and talon act as armor and sword. Coordinated flying makes for a distinct aerial advantage. Approach with caution lest you be dropped from the sky on the rocks below.
